About Troxel Equipment

Troxel Equipment Co. is a family owned business dedicated to making you a satisfied customer. Ralph and Elsie Troxel started Troxel Equipment Co. in 1960 as Troxel Bin and Dryer Sales. They served Northeast Indiana as a dealer for Brock Bins and Farm Fans grain dryers. In addition to running the family farm they were consistently among the top dealers in the midwest.

In 1975 Troxel Bin and Dryer was acquired by two of their sons, Richard and David Troxel. In addition to expanding their business they also increased their farming operation along the way. In 1987 an opportunity opened to acquire a Ford-New Holland dealership. The company name was changed to Troxel Equipment Company. In 1991, a John Deere Dealership became available and was also acquired. Troxel Equipment Company operated as a dual dealership until 1995. As the business flourished, the brothers decided to cease farming in 1999 and devote more of their efforts to the John Deere business.

In 2005 Troxel Equipment Company acquired the John Deere dealership in Huntington Indiana.

In 2007 Troxel Equipment Company acquired the John Deere dealership in Wabash Indiana, resulting in an even larger presence in the agricultural, commercial, consumer, and skid steer equipment market in northeast Indiana.

Our Gold Star status is our promise that we'll make ownership of John Deere commercial and consumer equipment the standard by which you judge everything else.
Troxel Equipment Co. has been a John Deere Managers Club Dealer every year since we first became a John Deere Dealership.
